Hong Kong international night

3 Jul, 2009 :: Hong Kong, SAR China

The “More to Life” International Night in the Tsim Sha Sui District Kaifong Welfare Association begged the question, “Is there more to life?” Over eight hundred people listened attentively as Doulos crewmembers Kinya Leong (Macau) and Manna Man (Hong Kong) wove the programme items into a search for meaning in life. The singing Gumboot Dancers showed that life is more than work while the Poi Performers swung lit balls around their body to portray that hope brings light in darkness. Kinya asked the attentive crowd, “What is your life? Is it simply a daily routine?” Songs, dramas, and even taekwondo illustrated the Doulos crew’s message that true hope is found in God, which inspired many to look to Him for a fresh start.
